How It Works

Starting care with Axis Nursing Group is designed to be clear, timely, and family centered. Every referral includes a conversation with the family to understand needs and confirm whether the case is appropriate and within our ability to staff.

Step 1: Submit a Referral

Referrals may be submitted by parents, guardians, healthcare providers, or case managers. We respond within 24 hours.

Step 2: Family Intake Call

We speak with the parent or guardian to understand care needs, schedule preferences, home considerations, care team involvement, and insurance and authorization status.

Step 3: Clinical Review

A licensed nurse reviews available clinical information to confirm nursing needs and service requirements.

Step 4: Authorization and Care Planning

Coverage and authorization requirements are verified and care planning is coordinated based on physician orders and approved services.

Step 5: Staffing and Start of Care

Services begin once staffing is confirmed and required authorization steps are completed.
